IllerCamping is beside the river and open throughout the year, with pitches, sleeping barrels and holiday apartments. Sonthofen also has hotels and guesthouses.

A natural, water-level-dependent hole/wave formed at the river sill. No dedicated paddler changing facilities are confirmed at the feature. IllerCamping has sanitary facilities, laundry and a bistro for its guests and customers. Confirm access locally and respect current parking restrictions.

Memmingen Airport is the closest useful airport; Munich offers a wider range of international connections.
Rail
Sonthofen station is on the Immenstadt–Oberstdorf line. Continue to the feature by local bus, bicycle, taxi or on foot.
